How Long Before the Wedding Should You Book Your Engagement Session?
Ideally, 6 to 9 months before your wedding. That timeline gives you:
- Photos ready in time for save-the-dates (usually mailed 6 months out)
- Enough seasonal variety to match the feel you want
- Time to order prints for engagement parties or bridal showers
- A chance to build that photographer relationship before the big day
